Vesuvius and Herculaneum Day Trip from Naples with Tickets

Not really a day trip, more like just transportation between the activities. Pick up went well using the coordinates on the GYG page and we were given stickers so the organisers knew which trip we were doing. Overall went smoothly with tickets and accessing Vesuvius and Herculaneum but would have liked slightly longer and both, even just half an hour more at both would mean we weren’t so rushed. As other people have mentioned when we were picked up at Herculaneum we then headed to Pompeii to drop off/pick up more passengers to head back to Napoli but we didn’t have to wait too long or swap buses so wasn’t too bad. Would struggle to do Vesuvius, Herculaneum and Pompeii in a day if you want to see everything

The organisation of the tour was poor although the operatives on the buses and switch over points tried to be helpful. We did a tour from Naples to Versuvius and then onto Herculaneum the outward journey was fine but the return was not good as we came from Herculaneum to Pompeii and were ejected from the bus, walked to the Tourist Information office kept waiting there and then returned to the place we had got off the first bus. We were then directed to the wrong bus although this was realised before we departed. There was no audio guide at Herculaneum and we had to depend on our own phones. Overall we did not consider this tour good value for money.
