From Bari: Full-Day Tour to Polignano and Alberobello

Transport was very confusing and not explained in the description when booking. 3 different vehicles and drivers. Initial driver picked us up on minibus in Bari, took us to Poliagnano, confusing info regarding pick up, location was different spot, he didn’t know where, advised to call the office. Info was received in email day before so I followed this. 2nd minibus was late picking us up, I called the office at this point as concerned I was in wrong place, no other passengers waiting. Thankfully it was correct, people were waiting in their office down the road. Dropped in Alberobello, walking tour was good, nice guide. Then we had to walk approx 10-15 min to a large coach, which did drop offs in Polignano and Monopoli then finally in Bari Other passengers were confused too and questioned the driver about their drop off. This could all have been explained prior and better so everyone was aware as it did make the day a bit stressful Other than that a nice day trip to 2 lovely places.

I luoghi visitati sono senza dubbio meravigliosi, peccato per la scarsa coordinazione tra le varie figure: agenzia-guide-autisti. Se non avessi reclamato i servizi promessi, la parte più interessante, il tour in barca, sarebbe saltato. Lo skipper del posto è stato brillante ma parlando in inglese mi ha fatto sentire straniera nella mia terra, essendo l'unica italiana del gruppo. Nessuna guida per il paese di Polignano e quella per Alberobello è arrivata solo su sollecitazione inoltre l'autista che doveva prelevarci da Alberobello non si è presentato all'orario stabilito. Le scuse che ci hanno fornito ci sono sembrate banali, da scolaretti. Pessima figura davanti all'amica americana che era con me.

Booking stated option for boat or street food tour however on arrival informed no boat option available. Street food tour guide did not accomodate or appear to consider my allergies and dismissed my question when I asked what was in the food. Poor communication between different drivers/transport with the group not knowing where the drop off or pick up location was at Alberobello despite already being in the car. Driver also did not know. Grace the tour guide in Alberobello was fantastic and a highlight of the day!!

Gostámos de tudo de uma forma geral, os guias foram bons, os destinos valem muito a pena visitar, são muito bonitos. E em Polignano, a visita com degustação funcionou lindamente! A comunicação do primeiro motorista foi quase nula, não o acho adequado para o cargo. O último motorista foi fantástico, para além de bom comunicador , ajudou-nos num imprevisto de forma rápida , e levou-nos até ao nosso destino sem atrasos.
