Lake Como Iconic Villa Tour by Modern Speedboat

Our original guide made other plans for the morning, so the night before he asked if it were possible for us to start an hour or two later. We could not, so he got a substitute guide. The new guide didn’t speak English well, so it was a very quiet tour, mostly just a boat ride to see the sights around the lake, which was beautiful. The boat stalled several times in the journey, and the guide mentioned water in the fuel line. This made us nervous about being stranded and missing the rest of our vacation day plans. The prosecco was warm, served at the end in plastic cups—felt like a cheap gimmick. Not a great experience and certainly not worth the money we paid. There must be a better value for a guided boat ride around Lake Como. I would like a refund.
