   Pass by

   Meet your guide on Tiber Island, the only urban island of the Tiber river and learn the this small island shaped like a ship. Start the tour in the medieval side of Trastevere. Your guide will take you to the Church of Santa Cecilia, the patron saint of musicians, and your first stop will be in one of Rome's oldest bakeries.

   Trastevere remains very traditional and boasts the presence of many old-school craftsmen and traders. Discover their  work, unchanged by modernity, like the cold cuts store where you can taste salami and cheese cured in the local Italian tradition.

   Pass by

   Then, move to the heart of the district, in piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere. After visiting the homonym church, tasting will continue with one of the most famous typical Roman Street food: the supplì, a deep fried rice ball filled with cheese, tomato mozzarella egg. From one stop to another you will also discover one of the oldest and best pizza shop of the district.  Your guide will show you the off-the beaten paths of this area, and help you to familiarize with the area, full of restaurants of local cooking or bar and pub where young locals use to spend their night having fun with friends.    Basilica di Santa Maria in Trastevere
