Assisi: Walking Tour with St. Francis Basilica Visit

Our guide, Alessandra, was excellent - very knowledgable, friendly, and a very good English speaker.

Our tour was excellent. Francesca took her time to answer questions. Her knowledge regarding the frescos was very informative. Her knowledge about St. Francis was even better.

Alessandra was a fabulous guide. She was knowledgeable and thorough on all aspects of Assisi! She understood the physical limitations of our group and adjusted accordingly without judgement! All of us thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed her tour as her enthusiasm and passion for Assisi shone through her presentation!

La visite guidée d’Assise était très enrichissante et intéressante. Notre guide Barbara est une vraie professionnelle et a su nous partager sa passion pour l’art et l’histoire. Son anglais est facilement compréhensible. Je recommande fortement.

Excellent tour and guide. Highly recommended!

We take many tours like this when we travel but Assisi was one of the best. Very knowledgeable guide. Excellent mix of history, culture and despite it being a feast day, we were able to make all the stops and our guide explained who we were seeing at the events and their significance. No filler, no bad jokes.

Marica was a quite knowledgeable guide and a pleasure with whom to spend time. The information she provided us included a many interesting periods of time and people and a thirst for more history. We would highly recommend her to anyone who asked.

I’d been to Assisi before but had never done a tour—I’m so glad we did a tour this round. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and we learned much about St Francis, St Clare, and the importance of the frescos in the basilica on the evolution of art. It was fascinating and would highly recommend!

Barbara was very knowledgeable of Assisi / St Francis and Italian art. Tour was a leisurely pace and whilst was scheduled for 2.5hrs end d up being over 3. Would have like more time in San Francis Cathedral at the end to really take in the frescos etc.

Der Guide war sehr freundlich und hat alles sehr interessant erzählt.

Muy bueno, muy completo e interesante, la ciudad preciosa
