DAIRY FARM / We will start our tour with a guided visit at a cheese factory and learn how aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is produced. After the visit, you with proceed with a tasting of different ages of Organic Parmigiano Reggiano, Ricotta and Caciotta cheese, Balsamic Vinegar and Marmalade, a glass of local wine and water.

After, we proceed with a visit to the Lamborghini museum and explore the fascinating history and the first visionary creations of the genius of Ferruccio Lamborghini, such as the Miura and the Countach, followed by the more recent and exclusive super sports cars.

BALSAMIC VINEGAR OF MODENA & LIGHT LUNCH / Then we will continue with a visit to an “Acetaia” and discover the production of the famous “black gold”, the precious traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena, which you will be able to taste at the end of your guided tour. After, we will have a light lunch, a food tasting (no main course), aimed at exploring gastronomic pairing of balsamic vinegar and various local food.

Pickup & drop-off

Pick-up is available from all hotels in Bologna and Modena city center, or from a meeting point in Bologna city center, based on the option selected. Please specify your requested pickup point (name and complete address). The exact pickup time will be communicated a day before the tour. Pickup normally starts between 08:45 am and 08:55 am and depends on the location you are staying in. Please make sure to be on time, we are not able to accommodate any late arrivals. When you are late for the pickup, the tour is not guaranteed, no refunds could be offered in that case. If you arrive by train, please contact us before booking your train, as we could advise on the best suitable arrival time. It could take 15 to 20 minutes to exit the underground train station where most of the high speed trains arrive. It means that you should arrive in Bologna no later than 08:30 am for the pickup at 08:50 am. Please check strikes or any changes in train schedules in advance. In case of a strike, cancellations or other changes in trains schedule, you assume full responsibility, the reservation cannot be moved to another day last minute.
When you select "Pickup from a meeting point" option, no pickup from your hotel is included, instead pick up will be from a meeting point, Piazza XX Settembre, in front of the NH De La Gare Hotel.
