Explore the historic fortress of San Leo. Discover this Roman landmark in the hinterland of Rimini and see the fascinating collection of weapons, frescoes, historical artifacts and much more. Immerse yourself in the heart of Romagna where the Fortress is located at the top of a village with less than 3,000 inhabitants, which absolutely deserves to be visited! The impregnable fortress hosts and collects various exhibitions related to its great and important history: from the collection of weapons dating back to the 1500s to those of the First and Second World War; from instruments of torture to the replica of Vasari's fresco depicting the capture of San Leo by the Medici up to exhibitions of contemporary works.

The opening hours of the fortress may vary depending on the season. We therefore recommend checking them on the official website www.san-leo.it. The 1st Sunday of every month is free.The fortress of San Leo will remain open at the following times : October : from Monday to Friday from 10.30am to 5.45pm (last entry at 5.00pm). Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10.30am to 6.45pm (last entry at 6.00pm)
