3-Day Tour from Rome: Pompeii, Sorrento & Capri with 4-Star Hotel Stay

I highly recommend this tour! It was so nice to have all the transportation coordinated between Rome, Pompeii, Sorrento and Capri. The day trip to Capri was wonderful - we weren't able to go to the Blue Grotto because of wind, but the views were still amazing. And the trip up to Anacapri was really fun. We opted to stay in Sorrento for the last day instead of going on the optional tour of the Amalfi Coast, and it was really lovely. We stayed at the Grand Hotel Vesuvio and it was really nice. The food was not great, however, and we opted to go out for dinner on our own then 2nd evening, but the value was still really worth it. It was extremely well-organized - we didn't have to worry about a thing! I highly recommend this tour for couples or families with older kids.

Obviously, Naples, Pompei, Sorrento, Capri and Amalfi are hard to beat as a destination. The guides were not up-to-speed - six or seven over 3 days - and the logistics were a bit haphazard! The main let down was the hotel - on the below average side - but the tour was very well priced. I feel a higher charge for better hotels could have been easily justified!!

Sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr gut organisiert. Super Hotel in Sorrent. Da wir im Februar dort waren, war diese entzückende kleine Stadt nicht so überlaufen. Der Ausflug nach Capri war atemberaubend und sehr angenehm, da nur wir zwei mit dem Reiseleiter unterwegs waren, der sich auch weitestgehend zurückgezogen hat nachdem er uns kurz eingewiesen hat. Vielleicht könnte man in der Beschreibung kurz den Ablauf der 3 Tage schildern. 1.Tag: Neapel und Pompeji, danach nach Sorrent ins Hotel, 2. Tag: Capri, 3. Tag: bis 15 Uhr zur freien Verfügung. Man kann noch einen Ausflug planen, z.b. nach Positano oder die Amalfiküste
