From Rome: Pompeii Guided Tour with Transfers

Abbiamo prenotato tramite un sito web che pubblicizzava il nostro viaggio con una visita guidata di 2 ore a Pompei. All'arrivo al pullman, ci è stato detto che non eravamo iscritti alla visita guidata e che avremmo dovuto pagare 38 euro in più a persona. Alla fine ci sono state concesse 1,5 ore a Pompei. Questo includeva l'andata e il ritorno dall'autobus, a 10 minuti a piedi. Ho mostrato gli screenshot e i link al sito web che riportavano quanto pubblicizzato sia alla nostra guida il giorno stesso che al vostro team di assistenza. L'unica risposta che ho ripetutamente ricevuto è che il nostro pacchetto non includeva una guida. Come si può dire a qualcuno che non ha pagato per un servizio quando il vostro sito web dichiara in più pagine che era incluso nel prezzo? Il team di assistenza è stato particolarmente poco disponibile, limitandosi a ripetere le stesse informazioni senza garantire l'aggiornamento del sito web, le scuse per aver fornito un servizio inferiore a quello pubblicizzato o un'offerta di rimborso. La nostra guida è stata anche incaricata da, presumo, la direzione di aspettare una coppia che si era unita al tour a Sorrento. La coppia era in ritardo di un'ora e 10 minuti. Siamo rimasti seduti sull'autobus per 45 minuti ad aspettarli. Quando avevamo solo 1,5 ore a Sorrento e 1,5 ore a Pompei, è molto poco professionale chiedere a un gruppo di almeno 25 persone di sedersi ad aspettare 2 persone per 45 minuti. Questo ha portato via tempo prezioso che sarebbe stato meglio impiegato per visitare i luoghi del tour, come pubblicizzato. Nel complesso, la vostra azienda è stata poco disponibile e poco professionale nel gestire i reclami. Oltre a non essere in grado di fornire i prodotti che vendete. La gestione di questa situazione è stata una vergogna da quando ne ho parlato per la prima volta con la vostra guida turistica, molto scostante, fino ad oggi. Essendo io stesso una guida turistica, so che esiste l'obbligo legale di fornire i servizi che avete venduto ai vostri clienti, come da pubblicità sul sito web.

Sasha was a great tour guide! I really liked him and the gentleman driving our bus. I do wish that the event at Pompeii lasted longer, I would honestly have traded time at the 4 or 5 stops to spend more time at Pompeii. It felt like every stop was a predatory way to lead us into shops that were likely paying you folks to take us there and spend money. I did not enjoy the vibes of being taken to a jewelry shop without any forewarning. Once again I really enjoyed our tour guide, he was funny, intelligent, and sentimental/ respectful of the dead. I just wish the tour company "I <3 Rome" was better. Cheers, hopefully you take this as critical and not derogatory.

The Trip is designed in a bad way. Transfer to Sorrento takes a long time so finally you have only 1 hour at the city which is mostly used for the lunch (only opportunity to eat) then heading back towards Pompei takes another hours. As a result you have only about 2 hours for visiting Pompei (which, when you do not know the place, is hardly enough for even a quick tour), and almost no time to walk around Sorrento. Perhaps starting trip a hour earlier would give some additional time and probably help avoiding morning traffic jams when leaving city.

The transport to activity ratio was not acceptable. The trip to Sorrento was in our opinion unnecessary as our aim was visiting Pompeii - i.e. we drove in the wrong direction for too long. We would have preferred more time in Pompeii as we ended up only having two hours and our guide had initially from the beginning informed us that we would have four hours.

Christian may be the best bus driver in the world! My guy has got skills, not only did he get us there and back I was so impressed I just had to tip him 20 Euro for a safe travel day! Mara was incredible, friendly and outgoing, she was extremely knowledgeable not only about destinations but sites along the way. She enhanced the ride by providing us music that was born from the locations she was telling us about giving us a deeper appreciation for the entire country of Italy and not just our paid destination spots! I would definitely recommend these two together if you're lucky enough to get them!

I did an extensive chat with your people WHILE on this tour. Your info said we would have 3 hrs in Pompeii; contracted tour operator said 1.5 hrs only. We waited far too long for people in Sorrento (45 mins before leaving w/o them) and then had to wait for the guide to return at Pompeii (45 mins) although he told us to be back at a certain time. So misguided. Never got "skip the line" tix, although prepaid. After doing extensive research for the tour with the most time in Pompeii were we were both extremely disappointed!!

Very good organization, bus on time and clean, nice bus driver. One stop each on the way there and back. We had only booked the bus trip with entrance tickets and still got good tips from the tour guide on board, as well as during the trip in English and Spanish. We hired an audio guide on site for 10 euros and off we went. About 3.5 hours on site!

Highly recommend this tour! The bus ride to and from was smooth and the staff are very kind. Samuel was the leader for my bus/tour and he was amazing. Stopped at a giftshop/cafe when we left Rome and on or way back. Very friendly and helpful. I got stuck in the store in Pompeii when we were supposed to leave and he went back to the site just to get me so I could find the bus and not be left! We had about four hours of time to walk around (I did not do a tour guide, I walked around freely) and I didn't see everything but it is a huge city so it's not a big deal. Very good experience and zero complaints!

The guides were pathetic, they did not stop talking and shouting the whole time. They told us insipid things that did not come to the point. We spent two hours stuck in traffic in Naples, it is completely absurd to go through Naples instead of spending more time in Pompeii. IT TOOK A LOT MORE TIME IN POMPEII. It was a waste of money to go with you. Three and a half hours to see all of Pompeii!!!! It's absurd, it was a waste of my money. I will never hire any of your services again nor will I recommend you to anyone. The guides are pathetic, the time for Pompeii absolutely insufficient, going to Naples and wasting two hours was stupid and pointless. I felt I threw my money away with you, is that clear?
