Wine Tasting & Winery Visit in Cagliari's Countryside Hills

The meeting point is very misleading. We took a bus to the winery and used the meeting point to navigate. The actual winery was a 3km walk from the meeting point (approx 40 minutes). The signs for the winery is not at all clear. We actually had to walk over a freeway to get there (which felt a tad unsafe). Sadly, we arrived late due this impacting the overall experience. Fellow attendees had a simmilar experince with confusion regarding the meeting point. The wines and views were nice.

Ich habe schon einige Wine Tastings gemacht, daher habe ich einen gewissen Vergleich. Die Tour war ganz in Ordnung, aber nicht komplett überzeugend. Nach einer kurzen Einführung zum Weingut wurde ein Weisswein, ein Rose und ein Rotwein verkostet. Die Tourleiterin war freundlich und sorgte für eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Was mir gefehlt hat, ist ein tieferer Einblick in den Weinherstellungsprozess. Man bewegt sich nur wenig auf dem Weingut. Wer eine entspannte Verkostung sucht, wird zufrieden sein. Ich hätte mir mehr Hintergrundwissen und eine etwa interaktivere Erfahrung gewünscht.

Had a really beautiful experience! Claudia is amazing, she is so knowledgeable about the vineyard, wine and Sardinia in general! All 3 wines we tasted were absolutely incredible and the meats, cheeses, olive oil, bread and honey that accompanied it were delicious. The scenery makes for a breath taking back drop. I highly recommend this experience! Thank you!

Our tour with Claudia was amazing. She was exceptional and such an asset to the Winery. She toured us round the grounds and went into the history of the vineyards. Claudia shows real passion and dedication, she's knowledgeable in wines and an excellent host. She really cared about our experience and it was so memorable, and for that we can't thank her enough. It was an unforgettable experience and 5*!!!

We had a lovely time when we eventually arrived at the correct place. Unfortunately we booked a taxi to take us from our hotel, at a cost of €45, we were dropped off at the wrong place, two ladies in the Sardinian countryside. The tour guide then called asking where we were? when I explained where we had been dropped off, she booked another taxi to collect us, at another cost of €45 to us. It was such a shame as the tour was wonderful, and our guide was brilliant, but this extra cost and distress was a huge disappointment.

The tour was amazing, Claudia was truly lovely and welcoming. We really enjoyed hearing about the organic farming practices like how they use roses to detect the health and how they harvest oak trees to make their own cork. Truly exceptional experience. The wines were fantastic, and we even bought he silver and gold wines which are made in wooden barrels opposed to steel and concrete. The wine was superb, really clean, tasty and smooth. We plan to buy the wine for our wedding. Just want to say a huge thank you again to Claudia for making it such a lovely experience.

We loved the knowledgable guide Alessandro who gave us some history around the vineyard, showed us a cork tree, vines and olive trees as well as explaining the wine making process. A beautiful building which was so pleasurable to drink the three wines in with cheese and charcuterie. It was a really special experience, we bought a bottle of the fabulous red wine and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time visiting the winery and were treated to a handsome venue for the actual wine tasting. We saw the area where the wines are aged and learned the winery had hectares of olive trees in addition to the vineyard. This is a vineyard that has been through good times and tough times but kept on to produce some very nice wines: white, rose and red. It’s a beautiful location if a bit difficult to find. Start out about 15 min earlier than you think is necessary, just to be sure you find it on time. Go there…you’ll have fun!
