Both the driver (Giulio) a our tour guide (Vincenzo) were polite, friendly, helpful and good communicators. We had a private vehicle for our family of 5 people. Driving straight to Pompeii, our driver kindly stopped at a viewpoint along the way. Handing us over to our guide, the guide (Vincenzo) took our group around the site for a 2-hour tour, walking at a gentle but not too slow pace. This allowed us to keep up easily in the 30+ heat as well as take plenty of photos while listening to what he was showing us. He helped to navigate us away or past several much larger groups, even ushering people away who were lingering too long instead of them being fair about how long they took. Our driver Giulio waited patiently while we stopped to have our lunch and drinks (these are not included, we already knew this). Then off to Herculaneum where Vincenzo was already waiting to show us around and treat us to his expert knowledge. Then after another 2 hour tour we were driven back.
