Exceptional Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica Tour with Kate! We recently took the 3-hour tour of the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica led by our guide, Kate, and it was truly a five-star experience. Kate is an outstanding guide. She manages to explain everything with incredible detail and makes the complex history and artistry exceptionally engaging. Her explanations were not only comprehensive, ensuring no important detail was missed, but she was also wonderfully communicative and quite humorous! The tour was seamlessly paced. Despite covering so much ground and such significant points of interest, the three hours felt incredibly short. Kate has a remarkable ability to keep the entire group captivated from start to finish. The tour was eye opening, our tour guide Tania was so knowledgeable that you would have thought she lived back in the time of these great archeological finds. The Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica were our favorite. The stories of these two famous sites have so much history that it is hard to imagine how it was possible to build.

Tania was great - usually guides might ask the group what they are interested in before the tour whereas she picked out things as we went along, which was fine, but there were some areas I would have liked to see or look at in more detail but we were whisked along at pace. I appreciate it is exceptionally busy - I have never seen so many tourists in my life and I live in London! - but parts did feel rushed.

I had a tour today with Kate, I CANNOT stress this enough, she was BY FAR, absolutely BY FAR, the best tour guide I’ve ever had. I’ve been to Italy 3 years in a row now and are taking tours everytime, this was my 3rd time at the Vatican and she’s by far not just for the Vatican but the best tour guide I’ve ever had. We enjoyed the Vatican Museums, St. Perer’s Basilica, and the Sistine Chapel. Our guide Antonella was very knowledgeable and engaging. She moved us through the museum quickly while still allowing time for questions and photos. Our group had 11 people and she made sure to keep everyone together. I would absolutely recommend this tour and would honestly love to do it again because there is so much to see, it’s impossible to see it all in one visit.

This would have to be one of the most informative tours I have been on (and I've been on a lot). For three hours Kate, our guide, informed, educated, shepherded and answered us, all while keeping a smile on her face and being warm and friendly to all. Her ability to recite historical facts and link them to the present is a real skill and I hope others get to enjoy her as a tour guide as much as we did.
