Florenz: Aufstieg auf Brunelleschis Dom mit 3-Tage-Pass

The tour guide (Anna) was at the proper location and was ready on time (but was kind enough to wait for the few people who showed up late). She provided a lot of information on the history of the cathedral/dome as well as the city of Florence. Anna was energetic and pleasant. If you do the tour that includes the dome and the museum, don’t skip out on the museum tour (as some of our group did). Anna’s knowledge about the history of the sculptures, and her excitement about sharing that knowledge, very very enjoyable. The historical perspective added by the tour made the experience much more enjoyable than if I had just climbed the dome alone.

To potential participants: Definitely take this tour, ultimately worth it! To organizers, you need to improve to be better: Too much disorganisation at the start: 1) at the meeting point; print a few purple flags with specific language on each flag to split/organize people a lot quicker (took guides over 30-40 min to just split people into language groups and we missed our scheduled slot as a result, very bad customer experience (which can cause avoidable bad customer reviews in future!) 2) you tell people to arrive 15 min early so make sure guides are there 20-25 min early (at the latest) as we saw many people arrive and question other companies if they're supposed to join their tour (which can cause avoidable bad customer reviews in future!). This was really bad and confusing (totally avoidable, by the way, as the lady that goes the Spanish language tours was early but was intentionally hiding (bad). Overall, worth it to skip the line, but small changes can make this great!

Anna was great! Easy to meet up outside the chocolate store. Waited in line for a few minutes but Anna shared some history before we got in. whole tour to the top and down took about an hour and a half. Very awesome views, was worth the steps and you get to see the inside of the cathedral and the dome at a few points during the climb up. We didn’t do the other sections since we were short on time but highly recommend the Dome climb if also short on time.
