Von Mailand zum Comer See: Bellagio, Varenna & Private Bootsfahrt

The timing of the trip was horrible..... We spent most of the day waiting for transport (water taxi and bus). We had less 30 minutes to explore Varenna, needless to say no exploring was done it was merely a pit stop so shouldnt be advertised as part of the journey and overall the whole day seemed like a lot of time was wasted, on useless things such as waiting and chit chatting about non relevant things. Badly planned. Its an okay way to check some boxes but not worth the price at all.

Our tour of Lake Como, Bellagio, and Varenna with our guide Sara was an outstanding experience. We thoroughly loved every moment. As first-time visitors to this beautiful region, there is no way we would have discovered the best places to experience on our own. We loved exploring these stunning towns and even finished the day with a refreshing dip in Lake Como. Thank you, Sara, and the team for a smooth, well-organised, and truly memorable day of adventure. Highly recommended!

Before I start I want to say that Sara was a great guide. She always made sure we all get full information on the activity and meeting points so the whole experience went smooth. David the driver - what can I say, if he take you for a spin to Bellano you'll learn how wide those roads actually are 😀 Kudos for the skill. Now - about the tour in particular. If you are okey with spending around an hour in each place than this tour is for you. A lot (like 70% of time) you are driving/sailing from one place to the next. In between you get free time (hour - hour and a half max) for exploration. Again - we liked it, as it gave us simple and easy way to explore the Lake. Everything was well organized - bus is good, first boat is private boat then you get to use regular ferries which is fine.

It's great to spend a day out of Milan and not to organise everything yourself. At every stop, it's enough time to discover the area and enjoy the breathtaking views. Our tour guide explained and showed us where we can find the most beautiful spots, shops, restaurants, and meeting point. He has a sign with the time and name of the meeting point, a picture helps to remember the location. The ferry cannot wait of you, so be on time!
