Comer See: Private Tour im klassischen Vintage-Boot mit Sonnendach

We came to lake Como for our 10 year wedding anniversary, and my husband loves boats so I had to book a boat tour. Zovi was pure joy for us and he was so kind, talkative and informative. I wish we booked more time, 2 hours was not nearly enough - but now we know for next time. I do think it was a little pricey, but at the same time, for a once in a lifetime type of trip - it was worth every penny. Lake Como is truly beautiful, and seeing it by boat turned out to be absolutely necessary! There’s so much we could not see from our hotel or just exploring by foot. Thank you again, Zovi! Pictures of the boat didn’t match what we saw. First image shows a nice wooden vintage boat, when we arrive to the pier we saw an ugly brown boat that looked like someone stripped the paint. We called to see if they had a second boat or an actual wooden boat and they said they had only the 1 and that the wooden wrap was taken off due to people complaining. Not sure why they haven’t taken the old picture off yet but we wanted a boat that looked like that. On top of that the boat was late about 15 minutes and we spent time arguing about whether that was even our boat because, as stated above, we expected a nice shiny oak wood boat. This lost us another maybe 15 minutes. After the company saying they couldn’t do anything for us they told us that the boat ride would end at 8pm because they close. We paid for an hour… they eventually decided to extend our time past that to 8:20, as they should. Regardless, the whole event made our trip sour and it was a very unpleasant experience overall.

La vuelta en lancha estuvo encantadora el guía nos llevó a todos los lugares importantes y las fotos salieron increíbles. Aunque las bebidas estaban incluidas no había variedad y estaban al tiempo pero aún así valió la pena. El guía fue servicial y siempre quiso ayudarnos a tomarnos fotos aunque por cuestiones de idioma lo entendimos muy tarde jajaja.

The boat tour was awesome. We were contacted by the company with a very detailed information about the meeting location a day before the trip and the communication with their team at the day of the tour was seamless. The skipper was very polite and the boat was comfortable and totally met our expectations. We ordered some prosecco to the boat and it was very tasty. We loved the tour overall and it’s great value for money. Also liked the fact that you can pay cash or card for the fuel charge which I think is handy in case you don’t have cash on hand.

I flew a long way to come here and enjoy a peaceful private experience. I booked a private boat because I wanted to listen to music, enjoy the view, and fully take in the atmosphere of the city during my one-hour trip. However, the driver brought another person along, and it seemed like he was training or teaching them during the ride. This was not appropriate for a private boat experience. They were talking loudly to each other the entire time, and it completely ruined the atmosphere of my trip.
