Well this was interesting! I love a good wine tour, as does my wife. We tend to do them everywhere we go. The itinerary was good for this one. Gorges. Market town. Winery. Happy days. The issue we had was the guide. This woman is not cut out for being a tour guide. She was abrupt and rude. As we settled in to our bus trip, she was assisting an elderly couple who had some issues with their card payment. She did actually help them in the end, but was very loudly proclaiming that they must pay for the trip, that it was not paid, and that it must be paid, over and over again, loudly. They were in their 80’s and clearly had issues with their card that they were trying to fix. It got resolved and we carried on, thankfully. This is when Renata came into her own, as we progressed up the road, she went multi lingual, fair play, but lost her patience having to explain things and rather rudely and loudly proclaimed ‘Be quiet and listen to me, it’s not easy explaining things in 2 languages’.
