Tour del Duomo di Firenze con Cupola, Terrazze o Museo

Our tour was excellent. Our guide explained the history and interesting bits about the outside, and then the inside of the Duomo. We climbed the first set of steps to the Terraces which was an incredible experience. I will say to others- this is not a climb for flip-flops or other loose shoes- we watched people sliding in their shoes on very narrow and steep steps. About half of the tour group continued up to the Dome. That also is a (longer) set of narrow steeps steps. As someone said in our group- it was definitely “leg day”! The reward is amazing views and interesting and up close looks at the dome construction. 100% would recommend.

The tour is absolutely worth it. The information you get is invaluable and the experience of seeing the sights of Florence from the Terraces and Dome lookout are amazing. You can see the whole cityscape and surrounding hills. The stairs can be challenging if you have any mobility issues. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the history of the Duomo and of Florence.

Had a great tour with our guide Lorenzo. He was very knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information about the Duomo. He was also very considerate of the needs of everyone in the group in terms of being able to climb the stairs to the dome and terraces. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting a deeper appreciation of this incredible building.
