Unfortunately, my overall experience was bad. While the Headout app itself works fine, the service isn't fully integrated into it, which creates a lot of confusion. Having to download a separate app for Roma Pass and create another account should be a smoother process. In an era of short step-by-step videos, it’s hard to understand why a company serving diverse audiences—across different cultures, ages, and levels of tech-savviness—doesn't provide simple visual instructions. I experienced a major issue with the Roma Pass app: it would not complete my registration and didn't display any error message. I sent screenshots multiple times to customer support, but representatives kept asking me what the error was instead of reviewing the images. Phone support wasn't available, and email response times were too slow to resolve the issue in time. As a result, I lost my only available day to visit the Colosseum. Now, support is still trying to fix my app login issues, but that is useless to me now since my visit date has already passed. A late technical fix does not solve the loss of the experience.

You are the worst company I have ever dealt with; I wish I had never done business with you. You simply took me for a ride with a clever handling of false information, because if your website had been explained better, I never would have bought a Roma Pass instead of the museum I wanted, namely the Villa Borghese. On top of that, you sell me a ticket for €54 when the Roma Pass costs €38. You were unable to meet my expectations; you bounced me around from bot to bot and to agents who kept asking me the exact same questions, then put me on hold, and then sent me to yet another bot. I no longer wish to deal with you; please do not contact me again, thank you.

Absolutely horrible experience. Do not trust headoit when it guarantees you entry tickets to popular Roman sites. I purchase the experience because it was titled Borghese Entry Tickets. That is an absolute scam. We were told you have to reserve through the site or a tour guide and what I had purchased was not valid. When I tried to get a refund headout refused. I spent 106 euros. What an absolute scam.

Incredible insight into the fascinating history of Rome and the Roman Empire. Our guide, "Gigi" has a PhD in Archeology and really brought the ruins to life. His passion and knowledge made the tour a real journey of discovery, filled with detailed knowledge, funny stories and fascinating intrigue of early Roman politics and society. Completely worth every cent! 10/10 highly recommended!

Unfortunately this was not worth the price. Fellow travelers, review the included museums & sites prior to booking, because most of the places you may want to go either are not included in the pass or you only receive a small discount there, not a full ticket included. The unlimited public transit was also not as necessary as I thought, since most people do not seem to scan a ticket (aka pay) on the busses, and the airport transfers are not included anyway, so it's just the metro that this covers. It was also confusing to have to download an app and see the qr code, but then realize that is not the ticket qr code, and instead I had to download the second app and figure out a way around scanning the first qr code into the second app on the same device. In short: a good idea, but not worth the price nor the trouble.

I would like a refund for the tickets to the Colosseum because I was unable to access the venue. The tickets, which were supposedly digital and downloadable on the app, were not enough to get in, and we would have had to wait in line for more than 2 hours to get physical tickets. That was impossible for us, so we paid 4 × 38 euros for nothing, which must be refunded to me.

Nothing about Headout is special for this booking, this is NOT a booking for the colosseum, only for the Roma Pass. I do recommend getting the Roma Pass as it gives access to free public transport and loads of sights including the Colosseum, but you have to be aware that you still need to book a ticket for some of these sites such as the Colosseum which is then free if you have the Roma Pass, but don't expect to just waltz up and enter with the Roma pass, you should book the tickets for these sights 10+ days in advance. I strongly suggest getting the Roma Pass through the official website romapass.it (38€ for 42h and 62,90€ for 72h).
