On Wednesday morning the basilica will be closed due to the papal audience. If you paid for access of the basilica, we will provide you a ticket for the first time available.
All guests must bring an ID for the security check.
Strict timed entry: The Vatican Museums enforce strict entry times. Late arrivals or no-shows may not be admitted, and no refunds will be provided.
Dress code: Shoulders and knees must be covered. Sleeveless tops, shorts, miniskirts, or low-cut outfits are not allowed.
Basilica closures: St. Peter’s Basilica is closed on Wednesdays and during certain religious holidays. Access may also be restricted without notice due to ceremonies or events.
Special needs: Disabled visitors should note this at the time of booking to receive free entry and appropriate assistance.

La empresa que vende el tour no es la misma que realiza la visita guiada. Dentro de los Museos Vaticanos y la Capilla Sixtina, el recorrido lo hacen guías del propio Vaticano. En nuestro caso, la señora que nos tocó no fue muy amable. En cambio, las personas de la empresa que nos vendió las entradas fueron muy amables y la atención fue buena.

The tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and the Basilica was amazing. Valentino our tour guide could not have done more to make this experience well worthwhile. Her knowledge and enthusiasm for all areas of the tour was second to none. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone well worth the money for the 2.5hrs spent on this tour. Very well organised.

The Vatican tour and Sistine Chapel was fabulous. Unfortunately there was an issue with the at peters tour for that morning. We were given our tickets and advised that we could come back at 4pm we then had to line up in a ridiculously long line to get in. We paid extra so that we would not have to line up extensively. It would have been better if the tour company arranged to meet us again at 4pm and gain our priority entry. This was the only disappointing part of the tour.

David was excellent, very knowledgeable and knew what to say and where. Sitting Chapel was a real disappointment - absolutely packed and so noisy, didn't feel remotely like a place of worship. St Peter's in contrast was stunning. Tour office could do with some seating and toilet available.

The tour guide did a very good job. Very knowledgeable. But it is very chaotic getting from the meeting point to the museums. The museum’s are extremely busy and very hard to keep the group together. Would recommend a small group or private tour. Because it was the papal audience that morning after the sistine chapel they wanted you to walk back to the meeting point to pick up your tickets for the basilica. Very inconvenient and we didn’t do it.

Veel te druk. Waarom laten ze zoveel mensen tegelijk in het museum en Sixtijnse kapel? Door de massa is het niet aangenaam. Puur commercieel gewin waardoor charme van Vaticaan verdwijnt. Zo jammer.

Die Tour war super! Unser Guide war erstklassig mit viel Witz und noch viel mehr Wissen. Die Tour war interessant und kann empfohlen werden. Wir hatten Glück und waren Ende Februar dort, somit war es zwar voll, aber nicht überfüllt.

Le guide était très intéressant et les détails aussi. Avec le monde sur place le système auditif ne couvre qu une oreille du coup quand il y'a du monde ou un autre guide à côté il faut se concentrer pour bien étendre ce que dit notre guide. Il y a tellement de choses à voir que la visite passe vite.

Accueilli par des personnes qui ne parlent pas français, explications très compliquées à comprendre Beaucoup trop de monde, c’est compliqué pour suivre la guide et d’apprécier ce qu’on peut voir pendant la visite du musée on est laissé à l’abandon avant la chapelle Sixtine, on doit se débrouiller pour aller à la basilique St Pierre sans guide, on attends très long pour rentrer dans la basilique et les QR codes ne fonctionnent pas!! bref trop cher pour la qualité

Fue muy poca la información que nos dio la guía y nos dejó en la capilla sixtina diciendo que ya no podía guiar después de ahí pero muchos otros grupos seguían fue bastante corto y poco para el precio carísimo de la visita guiada
