Mount Etna & Alcantara Gorges Tour from Taormina: Craters & Nature

Nous avons payé une prestation complète de 115 e qui incluait cable car et jeep.En raison du brouillard,la jeep. été annulée mais payée et nous n ' avons eu aucun remboursement pour la jeep,ce n ' est pas NORMAl.TRES déçue par la prestation car en fait on est laisses seuls 4h ,et si le temps est nuageux ou brouillard vous ne voyez que les boutiques de souvenirs....le guide reste ds un snack dispo c ' est tout ....C ' est beaucoup trop cher 115 e pour au final un transport!! Gorge de l ' alcantara idem ,on admire un point de vue et si on veut aller au jardin botanique il faut payer en plus 10€ ,donc la prestation totale coûte 125 € par personne,bcp trop cher pour au final ne rien voir comme moi et juste faire un aller retour télépherique.... à améliorer nettement et à prévoir remboursement jeep!!!

Byli jsme v srpnu. Celkovy dojem perfektni. Organizacne i casove je vylet dobre naplanovan. Pruvodkyne mluvi dobre anglicky, vyklad byl nabit zajimavymi infomacemi. Pohled na Etnu z ruznych stran. Vyslap do 3000 m.n.m. stoji rozhodne za to. Hledali jsme neco (bez pro nas nedulezitych) chutnavek, abychom se dostali co nejvyse. Vylet neni fyzicky narocny, zvladnou i mensi. U nas ve skupine podcenili vetrnost na vrcholu vulkanu. Vzit si minimalne vetrovku a trekingove boty. Diky vlaku jsme poznali i kus Sicilie, pistaciove plantaze apod. Odvoz a privoz mozny primo u hotelu Villa Bianca. Doporucujeme

Der Tagesausflug von Taormina zur Alcantara-Schlucht und zum Ätna war ein echtes Highlight unseres Urlaubs! Bereits die Abholung direkt in unserem Ort, ganz in der Nähe unseres Apartments, war super organisiert – vielen Dank dafür! Unser Guide war unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und sehr kompetent. Man hat gemerkt, wie viel Wissen und Leidenschaft er für die Region mitbringt. Auch der Busfahrer war sehr nett und professionell – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Fahrt mit der Schmalspurbahn, die beeindruckende Alcantara-Schlucht, die Gondelfahrt und die spannende Jeep-Tour am Ätna haben uns alle begeistert. Die Landschaft war atemberaubend, der Vulkan selbst einfach nur faszinierend. Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis – wir würden diesen Ausflug jederzeit wieder machen. Nochmals ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team für diesen tollen Tag!

Guide und Busfahrer waren hilfsbereit und nett. Allerdings mussten wir fast eine Stunde am Bahnhof warten, um mit dem Zug loszufahren. Die Zugfahrt war in meinen Augen auch eher unnötig und viel zu lang. Man spürte den Zeitdruck deutlich und Toilettengänge und auch offene andere Dinge wurden nicht gerne gesehen und es wurde gehetzt. Die Zeit auf dem Ätna war viel zu kurz. Auch zum Essen findet sich keine Zeit, nur Mitgebrachtes im Bus

So the reason I’m giving this a low rating is because the train trip was a complete waste of time - and I’m talking about nothing to see for 1 hour and 20 minutes waiting for the train . And the alacantra gorge is ok - but really there’s not much to see there either . And you have to pay €9 each to see just the one gorge and it takes an extra hour . The guide Franco was more proficient in German than English - I expected at least a history of Taormina on the way rather than a vague “ this is interesting “ or “ this is a beautiful view” . He was hardly a guide . Today guides tell you much more than what you would find in a cursory summary on Google - that’s the point of having a guide ! So we should have been able to get to Aetna in 2 hours instead it took 4 hours and we had to wake up at 6 am and get to the bus station only to find that the first half hour would involve picking up other people from their hotels when we were not picked up from ours - most annoying ! Aetna was dramatic

Vi var nöjda med det mesta på turen men alpinguiden uppe på Etna var vi riktigt missnöjd med. Han väntade inte in oss och verkade inte veta vilka som han skulle guida. Han pratade lågt med de som stod närmast så vi missade all information och hängde inte riktigt med. Det var tråkigt. Våran guide på bussen var helt suverän och det var även vår chaufför. Mycket att se och det var imponerande.
