Vatican: Intimate Sistine Chapel Tour at Exclusive Hours

Our guide Siriana is a very passionate local Roman. It was apparently her first time leading this VIP tour, despite having lead plenty of other group tours, but never this one where you get to go in before everyone else. Her excitement was palpable, and it was definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We had the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel all to ourselves (and a Vatican “guardian” who inconspicuously followed us around like a bodyguard). Absolutely unforgettable. The atmosphere is totally different - peaceful, ethereal and awe inspiring. I’m afraid that visiting the Vatican along with the usual tours during opening hours is ruined for me now ;) You can stay on after the tour to explore the rest of the museum albeit with everyone else. My only gripe is that 2 hours was definitely not enough. I would definitely sign up for this tour again, maybe for the Jubilee next year if I’m lucky. Thank you Siriana and Walks of Italy!
