Modena: Balsamic Lunch with Traditional Vinegar Cellar Tour and Tasting

The tour of the family villa was absolutely fantastic. Learning about the family tradition with their balsamic vinegar was so interesting. The lunch was delicious paired with their yummy balsamic. The whole tour was awesome. It exceeded our expectations. The free shuttle the family provided from the train station was an added bonus! Thank you very much for everything.

Nous avons très bien été accueillis par Valérie qui nous a fait une présentation du domaine. Lucas, a pris le relais et nous a expliqué le processus de fabrication et conservation du vinaigre traditionnel de Modene, avant de déguster un repas servi avec des produits régionaux, savoureux. Nous avions une table réservée dans un cadre unique et très calme. La visite a duré deux heures et nous a montré combien ce patrimoine Italien est unique. Merci Valérie et Lucas pour votre savoir-faire unique. Vive Modène et l italie.

We arrived late, due to traffic, and missed the tour but the hosts were very accommodating. The lunch was wonderful, the setting was beautiful and the explanation of which vinegar should accompany each item on the buffet was thorough. After lunch our host gave us an overview of what we missed, which they didn't have to do. It was very nice and they answered our questions, etc. I would highly recommend this tour as the balsamic vinegar was wonderful.

This was an amazing experience. With the ease of a shuttle pick up from the Modena train station complimentary. The guide Margherita was excellent and funny in her delivery of how the balsamic is made and her knowledge of the industry. The food was AMAZING!!!!!!! Cold cuts of 6 different meats, 3 different aged cheese, frittatas, ricotta cheese from sheep and cow, bread was just the starters!!! The. We had this amazing creamy parmigiana reggiano risotto as a main and THEN a ricotta cake and this amazing cheesecake for dessert. All paired with balsamic vinegar, local Lambrusco wine and limoncello. It really was value for money and a beautiful surrounding for lunch. Really had a great time.
