Pienza Dairy Farm Tour with Pecorino Cheese Tasting

Loved this tour! Lovely experience wandering the farm and seeing how the cheese is made. The tasting was fabulous too.

We had a wonderful time learning from Andrea the history of the family farm, the process of making Pecorino and Ricotta cheese while touring the facilities, and then enjoying some of the farm’s amazing tasting products. Most of us then purchased cheese and olive oil from the shop. Thank you for a memorable experience!

Really interesting and informative. Loved the detailed explanation of the cheese process, being able to see the animals, how they live, then the cheese making and aging process in a beautiful location.

Our guide was excellent. She spoke very good English. She was very informative about the area and cheese. They gave everyone a nice plate of various samples and were very generous with the wine.! I would definitely tell people to do it

An excellent opportunity to learn about cultivating the soil and the animals for organically grown grains, grapes, and feed for their animals to produce optimal milk for the production of the cheeses as well as the wines we were served and the bread. A wonderful experience in a stunning part of Tuscany.

Our guide was fantastic! Leanna was so knowledgeable and fun! We learned so much about the farm and climate and cheese and wine. The views are amazing and we stayed at the farm for a wonderful lunch.
