Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter's Basilica Tour

Our guide Margarita, was extremely knowledgable and nice. She gave us a run-down of all the paintings inside the sistine chapel so when we entered we knew what we're looking at. Our host Chris was also very friendly and the whole experience was very smooth. The only thing is that the Vatican museums are huge and there is so much art and history to take in in one visit so you definitely need to do that tour more than once! 😅

Our guide was incredible! Her name began with an ‘N’ but I can’t remember it. She was very informative, kind and fun. The walk around the museum was tremendous and astonishing, I really loved the statues, tapestries, and the many large and detailed paintings (Raffaelo room was the best!). The Sistine Chapel is by far one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve ever seen inside, but to remain quiet and spend up to 15 minutes just taking in all of its artwork - Michelangelo’s work is definitely one to see in person and experience. Saint Peter’s Cathedral was a delight to traverse through and see the monuments all throughout. I would recommend to everyone visiting Rome if they love history, culture, and art. Thank you CityLights for this experience I hope to never forget.❤️

Superb! Bravo! Our guide was the best I’ve had in a while. She had remarkable knowledge of what we were seeing and answered all of our questions. The Vatican is a must see even if it’s just for the history aspect. But as a catholic, the Vatican is a magical place combined with its history. I definitely recommend our guide. I only wish I could remember her name.

We had a fantastic morning on the Vatican tour. Our guide was brilliant, really friendly, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what they do. They had a great way of bringing the history to life and made the whole tour really interesting without it ever feeling rushed. Both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it, as did the rest of the group. It was a really enjoyable experience from start to finish, and we came away feeling like we’d seen and learnt so much. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Vatican. A great morning and well worth doing! 🇮🇹

Absolutely fantastic Vatican tour! Julia was a wonderful guide—warm, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. She brought the history, art, and stories of the Vatican to life in such an interesting and memorable way. Her passion and expertise made the experience even more special for our family. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended!

Witnessing the works of the greatest artists and sculptors, along with the history behind them, was truly amazing. I literally had goosebumps when I heard the real story from our guide and then later saw that world with my own eyes. The Sistine Chapel is just beautiful. With my limited time in the city, I chose to visit the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel instead of the Colosseum, and I’m glad I did. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Rome.
