Palazzo Vecchio: Secret Passages Tour with Lunch or Gelato

Very nice and instructive, the guide was knowledgable, fun and engaging. She made this visit very enjoyable. I was disappointed there was no lunch or ice cream and I wish It could have been clear from the moment you book, that the tour ends IN the museum and you continue your visit once the guided section ends. I didn't have water or my sketchbook and I would have wanted them with me in the independent museum visit.

A wonderful tour and our tour guide Silvia was excellent and very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed the history of the building and learning more about the Medici family and their links to Florence. I would very much recommend as you get the guided tour of secret areas and then also your ticket to go around the museum at your own pace afterwards. TOP TIPS: Take your tickets into the ticket office in the Palazzo and then they will print your two museum tickets and tell you where to meet your guide. Explain it is the hidden passages tour. The tour is via the museum and not external, so don't wait around for a tour guide with a flag etc. If you purchased the gelato option - you need to read the instructions given and take yourself to the gelato shop when you are done (the guide will not take you!). Our tour was a Tuesday and the place was Rudis, just in front of the museum. I showed the staff my ticket and we had our two delicious scoops. I think a lot of people assume you are guided there

De gids vertrok en wij waren bij haar maar verloren haar daarna uit het oog. Was erg druk daar. Ze had moeten wachten op ons. Konden haar niet meer vinden. Nog gebeld met het telefoonnummer op ticket maar zij konden ons niet helpen. We hebben zelf weer gevraagd wat we konden doen. Toen zelf het museum in gegaan dus gelukkig nog wat gezien maar uiteraard niet de secret plekken waarvoor we nu juist deze tout hebben geboekt. Dus erg teleurgesteld over deze trip.
