Etna Tour from Siracusa: Trek, Wine and Food

This was great. Gabriele was a fantastic, knowing guide, and made sure that everyone on the group was OK with the route and pace. The wine tasting after was fine. The food is OK - a more substantial lunch is extra - and it’s professionally done but you only get to try 2 wines (as part of the meal). If you’re thinking of booking this, consider it an Etna trek first and foremost with a bit of lunch after. Probably not satisfying for someone specifically seeking a wine tasting experience.

We glad that we booked this tour because it’s the highlight of our Sicily holiday. Amazing!! Our guide Gabriele was really knowledgeable giving us information about Mt. Etna and the surrounding area. He was also a great driver. We were just a small group of four (myself, my husband and another husband and wife) so he picked us up in a car from Syracuse. It was an unforgettable experience for us to be able to hiked and see stunning views from above and of course the magnificent Mt. Etna. The wine and food tastings after was great. You do have to pay extra if you decided to have a meal (lunch) at the restaurant. I would highly recommended this tour and if I have the chance to go back to Sicily I would definitely go do it again.

The taxi van was comfortable and the driver drove with care. He explained landmarks as we travelled. However, I was seated in the rear and could not hear. The walk upto Etna was well paced with resting breaks and photo opportunities. Trip to the winery was interesting. Both guides in this trip were excellent, ensuring that our experiences were positive. Best day of my holiday so far.

Это лучшее из предложений и на деле так и вышло. Габриэле оказался приятным собеседником, хорошо говорящий на английском. Он влюблён в своё дело и мог рассказать о вулкане всё, что не спросил бы участник нашей небольшой многонациональной группы. Всё по времени, но без спешки и стресса. Был выбор подниматься на 2500м на фуникулёре( за 54€) или он мог сопровождать вас пешком( хайкинг). Снаряжение в виде палок и обуви выдал и всё было в аккуратном виде. При подъеме был очень внимателен ко всем, ведь в группе люди разной физической подготовки. Про Этну знает всё и даже больше! После ждала дегустация вина, масла и ликёров. Естественно в размере формата дегустации, но всё атмосферно и приятно. Однозначно рекомендуем! Единственное сожаление, что уходя мы отвлеклись на свои вещи и сувениры с Этны и забыли о чаевых за прекрасный сервис. 🤝

L’escursione è stata davvero una bellissima esperienza. La nostra guida, Francesco Corbino, è stata cortese, estroversa e amichevole fin da subito. Durante il tragitto in auto ha coinvolto tutto il gruppo con chiacchiere piacevoli e curiosità sui luoghi che attraversavamo, rendendo il viaggio già di per sé interessante. Durante l’escursione si è dimostrato preparatissimo, chiaro nelle spiegazioni e sempre disponibile. Ha descritto ogni tratto con attenzione, aggiungendo dettagli che hanno reso il percorso ancora più affascinante. La sua gentilezza, la capacità di mettere tutti a proprio agio e il modo in cui ha saputo valorizzare ogni momento hanno reso questa esperienza davvero speciale. Consigliatissima.

jó guide, jó társaság, lélegzetelállító látvány Francesco figyelmes vezetőnk volt jól felépített programmal. Előzetesen nézegettük a tömegközlekedési lehetőségeket az Etnához, de ez a program sokkal jobb, mint privátban utazni. Bőven megérte az árát. Nem kellett aggódni a csatlakozások miatt és egy csomó plusz információt kaptunk útközben. A felvonóval nem utaztunk, de nem volt hiányérzetünk. Megannyi látnivalónk volt így is.

Szuper elmenyben volt reszem! Francesco nagyon jofej, humoros idegenvezeto, megszinesitette az utunkat a rekkeno hoseg ellenere. A kostolas is nagyon jo volt, helyi bort, sajtot, kulonlegesseget izlelhettunk meg. Nagy extra, hogy a transzfer visszafele is szolt, tomeg kozlekedessel eleg idoigenyes es maceras lett volna. Maximalisan meg vagyok elegedve! Nyugodt szivvel ajanlom mindenkinek!

Excellent guide, very knowledgeable about all the area around Etna and the different eruptions. A good mixture of some views of Etna from the lower slopes and then a local vineyard for wine and food tasting. A good day trip out from Siracusa. We would have liked more time hiking around Etna and a minibus with aircon would have been more comfy than a car.
