Teresa was a fantastic guide. She was very knowledgeable about the sassi and the cave family history and general history of the area. Highly enjoyable we didn’t realise 2 hours had passed by.

The guide was amazing and very friendly! Her family history and passion for teaching others about her heritage were evident. Although the tour at 12pm at 40C is HOT, there is many moment to cool off and rest throughout the tour. I would have been lost navigating matera highlights without the guide. Highly recommend!!!
