  The guide was amazing and was so knowledgeable. We really enjoyed walking through Ostia and he knew all the best spots to take us to. it was incredible. Transportation was a little rough. We took the public train - not bad in theory. There was an inspector that came through the train making sure that everyone paid their 1.50 Euro for the train and for some reason, their payment system only recorded that I purchased one train ticket - you have to pay to get through the gate and its one person at a time. It would be very difficult to not pay. There is no ticket or receipt so you can't prove you paid! It was pretty upsetting. The guide was so nice and tried to reason with the lady but to no avail. I wound up having to pay a 50 Euro fine for toll evasion for my daughter's fare. If that wouldn't have happened, the train would have been fine. It was clean and air conditioned. Relatively nice for a metro.

  Rebecca est une guide fantastique ! Grâce à sa prévenance et ses connaissances j’ai découvert un site incroyable, une histoire riche et même quelques drôles d’habitudes (mais je n’en dis pas plus, vous devrez la rencontrer). L’endroit est incroyable, se balader dans un si bel espace est vraiment époustouflant. Je savais que j’allais être emporté par le site mais j’ai été réservé ! Merci Rebecca, je n’aurais pas pu espérer mieux pour cette matinée.
