   Catacombe di San Callisto

   The Catacombs of Saint Callixtus in Rome are an extensive network of underground burial chambers dating back to the 2nd century AD. They served as the final resting place for early Christians and house numerous ancient Christian artworks and tombs of popes and martyrs. Tickets can be purchased at the Catacumbs, at 10 euros per adult, or 7 euros per under 12 yo.

   The ancient Appian Way in Rome is one of the oldest and most important roads in ancient history. It served as a vital trade route and is lined with ancient tombs and landmarks, offering a glimpse into the rich history of the Roman Empire.

   We will stop near the Pantheon, your guide will describe the amazing engineereing that made it possible, and the story of this incredible building. See it from outside.
