Located in the historic heart of Genoa, near the ancient gate of Porta Soprana, Via di Porta Soprana is a charming street rich in history and local character. Surrounded by medieval buildings and narrow alleys, this area offers an authentic atmosphere that perfectly reflects the traditions of Genoese life and cuisine. Here, visitors can enjoy a hands-on cooking class dedicated to the flavors of Liguria. Guided by a professional chef, participants learn how to prepare classic dishes such as Gnocchi served with the famous Pesto alla Genovese, made with fresh basil, pine nuts, and Parmesan. The experience also includes the preparation of the traditional Focaccia di Recco and the delicate flower-shaped biscuits known as Canestrelli. At the end of the class, guests enjoy tasting their creations together with a glass of local wine, experiencing the true flavors and warm hospitality of Genoa.
