Parmesan Factory Tasting & Tour near Maranello & Modena

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was interesting to learn about the process of making parmagiano reggiano cheese, and its significance in the local area. The tasting at the end was a very generous and delicious selection of cheeses, sliced meats, bread, wine, and juice. Most of all, the Moscattini staff were so kind and welcoming, and were clearly proud to share their wares. Grazie mille!

It is immense The tastings of the aged cheeses, meats and balsamic with wine was an absolute great way to finish They were very relaxed and did not rush us at all The only problem was do not arrive early as you don’t know if they were open

Die Tour hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und offen durch die Herstellungsstätte des Betriebs geführt. Wir konnten vieles Neues erfahren und die Qualitativen Merkmale des Parmigiano Reggiano kennenlernen. Neben den sehr fesselnden und durchaus überraschenden Informationen die einem sonst nicht bekannt waren konnten wir durch unseren Besuch einen tollen neuen Blick auf die Region und die Herkunft des Käses erhaschen. Die Kühe und Kälber durften wir uns sogar auch anschauen und konnten miterleben wie diese gehalten werden. Ich würde jedem Feinschmecker dieses Event empfehlen.

Linda gave us a thorough and informative tour of the facility and walked us through the process in detail, followed by a tasting of three parmigiana cheeses of different ages, served with a bottle of local wine and other small bites made onsite. We recommend touring early as advised in the description to observe the process first hand. Linda was very personable, knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, and was a generous host. The farm market has many cheeses, fresh pastas, and other Italian goods for sale. A highlight of our trip!
