Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter's Basilica Tour with Dome

Enry was an incredibly passionate and knowledgeable guide. He was charismatic and animated which made his storytelling about the art and the Vatican so much more memorable. Great English and courteous to other groups. Answered lots of questions. Would love to have more tours with him! I would recommend this tour to anyone - did not have to wait in a single queue so maximised tour time, and also got given time to enjoy the Basilica and Sistine Chapel at our own pace. I would also recommend adding the dome (self guided) unless you are not good with tight spaces.

We had Alessandro as our tour guide. He was VERY knowledgeable about the space and seems he enjoys questions from time to time. He was very kind and spoke with so much passion for the space. If you can be specific, definitely as for him!! Only troublesome part for me was it was super crowded but seems well managed everywhere but in the sistene chapel. That felt rushed by the vatican site workers. The ear pieces to hear your guide through the sistene chapel were not great. I have smaller ears so I had to hold the earpiece and try to manage pictures at the same time. Overall! GO AND CHECK IT OUT!!!

This was far and away the worst tour I have ever been on. The guide singularly failed to bring the experience to life with a monotonous monologue and without identifying areas of any real significance. Listening to other tour guides was more instructive. I also couldn’t believe the number of people on the tour for the cost per person. Crown Tours was a rip off and don’t go with them. I am sure I am not the only one who felt this way.

The tour was excellent and our guide was very informative. Patient, yet gave clear & precise instructions on what to expect, what was expected from the group and where & when to meet. He gave us plenty of opportunity to take a break & sought out premium spots for us to get a bit of shade or just get away from the hustle and bustle. I was a little hesitant, not knowing the company or the country, but Crown Tours exceeded my expectations.
