From Rome: Pompeii Day Trip with Optional Vesuvius and Lunch

Had a great day with Valentina and Danile. Valentina was very knowledgable and made the day fun and Danile’s driving skills up mountain Vesuvius were exceptional. The lunch was amazing . Great food and promptly served. We did get stuck in traffic which meant our tour round Pompeii was rushed. Which was a shame as the guide clearly had a lot of information to give us but felt like we were being route marched round the site… amazing trip though would definitely recommend

Pani przewodnik Kiaria bardzo miła i profesjonalna przekazała podczas wycieczki bardzo dużo informacji o historii Włoch. Podczas zwiedzania Pompejów Pani przewodnik Anna sympatyczna z ogromnym zaangażowaniem opowiadała historię tego miejsca, brakło czasu aby zobaczyć mozaikę psa. Chciałabym po zwiedzaniu więcej czasu wolnego na zakup pamiątek (15-20 minut). Zaplanowany lanch smaczny i sprawnie podany. Miłym zaskoczeniem był przystanek u plantatora cytryn który oferuje regionalne produkty i limoncello wytwarzane z cytryn zbieranych na wulkanicznych stokach.

Really good tour - the actual Pompeii tour is in the middle of the day so bring a good hat. The driver was great and we stopped for a bathroom break on each trip. My food was REALLY good. I went to the pizza place called le gare, definitely recommend. Pompeii is a beautiful site and it’s cool to see the ongoing excavations! The group size was 20 and there were 2 groups sharing a coach :)

A good day trip from Rome. The meeting point was easy to find. Our guide Valentina and the driver were both very experienced and helped us navigate the day. The local guides at Mount Vesuvius and Pompei were also very knowledgeable and made the experience fun and worthwhile. However our experience at Pompeii was quite rushed because we had a traffic jam which delayed our lunch time as well. Overall it was a good experience and I enjoyed it.

Die Tour war echt Mega. Unser Guide Veronica war echt nett und hat sich sehr gut um alle gekümmert. Auch auf der langen Busfahrt hat sie schon einige interessante Infos gegeben. Die Wanderung auf dem Vesuv mit Diego, dem Vulkanologen war echt aufschlussreich und hat Mega Aussichten gebracht. Diego hat sein wirklich wissenschaftliches Fachgebiet sehr verständlich und in gutem Tempo weitergegeben. Die neapolitanische Pizza war richtig lecker und mehr als genug 😅 Mit 1,5 Stunden war die Führung in Pompei natürlich viel zu kurz für eine ganze Stadt, aber im Rahmen eines solchen Tagesausflugs ist halt nicht mehr drin😉 Alessandra hat in der kurzen Zeit trotzdem alle Highlights mehr als unterhaltsam rübergebracht. Wirklich ein dickes Lob an alle Guides und natürlich Antonio unseren Busfahrer, die diesen Tag so toll gestaltet haben 🥰
