Blue Grotto, Capri & Anacapri Guided Tour: Explore the Enchanting Island

Our day trip to Capri and Anacapri was absolutely unforgettable, and so much of that was thanks to our incredible tour guide, Francesco. From the moment we met him, he was welcoming, organized, and genuinely passionate about sharing the beauty and history of these amazing places. Francesco was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire day feel effortless. He shared fascinating stories and local insights that brought Capri and Anacapri to life, while also making sure everyone felt comfortable and had plenty of time to enjoy the breathtaking scenery. His recommendations for sightseeing, shopping, and local food were excellent. What stood out most was Francesco’s enthusiasm, patience, and wonderful sense of humor. He made everyone feel like family and ensured we had an unforgettable experience. If you’re planning a trip to Capri and Anacapri, I highly recommend requesting Francesco as your guide. He truly made our visit one we’ll always remember.

The excursion is way too expensive for what it is. You can do this on your own way cheaper using the public busses to Anacapri and back to Capri. No need to organize that. There are a xillion providers to the Blue Grotta, also via boat, and not expensive at all. While Francesco is fluent in three languages, he only spoke about logistics acting like a tour manager but not as a guide. We did not learn anything about the history, customs, food, etc. of the island. That was very disappointing as that was the reason why we went on a tour to learn from a local. We were also given a lot of free time which you pay for(?) Also, because of the long lines we went up the mountain and down again. The tickets for both the Segovia and the Augustus garden are V inexpensive (2.50 Euro). Thus, we would not recommend that excursion.

The trip was really great. Brilliant communication from the host from start to finish - even before the day began - to ensure we were sure of meeting point. Marco the tour guide, was top notch! First class customer service, funny, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help me with a phone issue at the end of my trip. The only negative about today’s trip to Capri was that we had to pay for toilet access - yet was limited to loo roll and therefore had to resort to using materials in own bag to get sorted. Then got locked in the toilets. Not a reflection on the trip - just a note for travellers to bring tissues and coins for the toilets. I would hope to be gifted with Marco on future tours.

We had a great day visiting Capri on this tour. Our guide Marco was brilliant and really made our trip. He was friendly and funny and everything was so organised. We visited the blue grotto first then we went to Anacapri to do the chair lift. We had some free time here before we went down to Capri where we visited the Augustus Gardens and then had more free time in Capri. The tour can organise the ferry tickets for you which I wasnt even aware of when I booked the trip. The island would be hard to get around to each location of you tried to do it by yourself. Would definitely recommend this trip if you want to see a lot of Capri
