Trek to the summit of Mount Etna (3,350 m) with drone video

Unsere Etna-Tour war von Anfang bis Ende einfach perfekt organisiert! Bereits die Buchung verlief unkompliziert und professionell. Von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme an hatten wir das Gefühl, bestens betreut zu werden. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die hervorragende Einführung sowie die ausführlichen und interessanten Erklärungen während der gesamten Tour. Alles war bestens organisiert und aufeinander abgestimmt, sodass wir uns jederzeit gut aufgehoben und informiert fühlten. Man merkt, dass hier mit viel Erfahrung, Leidenschaft und Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wird. Dank der perfekten Organisation konnten wir dieses besondere Erlebnis vollkommen genießen. Fantastic tour, very well organized by the two brothers who run the company. The groups were smaller than many of the others we met along the trail, which made the experience much more enjoyable and personal. The guide recommended postponing the hike by one day due to the weather, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. We had much better conditions and amazing views. I can highly recommend this tour. If you don’t have a car or don’t want to deal with the public bus, they also offer a private transfer for €35 per person, which made getting to the starting point very easy. Payment was possible by both card and cash. A big bonus was that our guide flew a drone during the hike and edited together a short highlight video, which he sent to us the very same day—an unexpected touch that made the experience even more memorable. 5/5 – highly recommended!

Nagyszerű és felejthetetlen élmény volt. Olyan volt mintha egy másik bolygóra kerültem volna, nagyon ajánlom mindenkinek aki egy izgalmas kalandra vágyik. Kell hozzá megfelelő edzettség, mert igénybe veszi az állóképességet. 3350m-re feljutni kárpótolja a fáradalmakat és az odavezető úton Dario mesél érdekes dolgokat a kőzetekről és az Etnáról.

The excursion turned out absolutely amazing! If you are wondering whether it is worth going to Mount Etna, the answer is definitely yes! The memories and emotions from being on an active volcano are simply overwhelming. I would gladly return to Gianni to do this excursion again. I would also like to thank our guides for the fascinating stories about Etna, for organizing a safe hike, and for providing us with warm jackets, comfortable shoes, helmets, headlamps, backpacks, and, of course, the incredible drone video! It was truly amazing, and I can’t wait to experience it all again🌋❤️

Nous avons passé une excellente journée avec Dario. Malheureusement, les conditions météorologiques ne nous ont pas permis de monter jusqu’au sommet en raison de l’activité du volcan, mais Dario avait eu la délicatesse de nous prévenir dès la veille au soir, en nous proposant de décaler notre excursion à un autre jour si nous le souhaitions. Nous avons souhaité maintenir et avons pu monter quasiment au top. Dario est très sympathique, ses explications très intéressantes. Il fait l’effort de les délivrer en plusieurs langues pour que tous les membres du groupe comprennent. Nous recommandons vivement l’expérience, et les images du drone sont un vrai plus pour garder un souvenir mémorable !

Gianni und Dario waren hervorragende Guides! Sie haben eine interessante und abwechslungsreiche Aufstiegsroute gewählt, sehr viel Wissen über die Vulkane weitergegeben, sehr gut auf uns geachtet und wir hatten viel Spaß! Auch das Picknick am Kraterrand war ein Erlebnis! Das mit der Drohne hergestellte Video welches wir bereits zwei Stunden nach unserer Tour erhalten haben rundete einen perfekten Tag ab.

Angekommen am ausgemachten Treffpunkt am Parkplatz wurde ich gleich freundlich vom Gianni freundlich empfangen. Alles gut Vorbereitet. Sind gut ausgestattet, Wanderschuhe, Jacke, Helm. Ich hatte zwar die 3350 m Gebucht und auch schon bezahlt, aber leider durften wir nur auf 2600 m rauf da der Vulkan zu Aktiv ist. Hat aber für alle gleich gegolten. Der Gianne hat trotzdem eine gute und sehr informative Tour mit uns gemacht. Alles zusammen bin ich sehr zufrieden. Nächstes Jahr werde ich sicherlich nochmal mit der selben Angebot es nochmal versuchen ganz rauf auf den Etner zu kommen.

We joined the morning summit hike to Mount Etna, and everything was perfect from start to finish. The tour was very well organized, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Our group had people with very different hiking speeds—from the "energizer" types to slower hikers (like me 😄). Dario was incredibly patient with everyone and made sure the pace worked for the whole group without anyone feeling rushed or left behind. Throughout the hike, we learned so much about Mount Etna, its history, its craters, and its volcanic activity. The explanations were interesting, detailed, and made the experience even more special. As if the summit hike wasn't amazing enough, we were also incredibly lucky to witness a true once-in-a-lifetime event later in the evening—watching lava flowing live. Seeing the glowing lava under the night sky was absolutely breathtaking and something we'll never forget. We couldn't have asked for a better Etna experience. Highly recommended!

Dario und Giani sind super Guides und können nur wärmstens empfohlen werden. Der etwas höhere Preis für die zusätzlichen Drohnenvideos sind es absolut wert, eine super Erinnerung! Damit heben sie sich aus meiner Sicht auch von anderen Guides/Touren ab. Drohnen habe ich nur bei unserer Gruppe gesehen. Leider konnten wir am Tag der Tour aufgrund der Gefahrenwarnung nicht auf den Hauptkrater hinauf und konnten „nur“ auf den Krater von 2002. Trotzdem war es eine super Erfahrung, auch Dank der Erklärungen von Dario und Giani.
