Which Rome museum tours offer free cancellation?

Most experiences listed here, including the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel Tour, the Borghese Gallery small-group tour and the Da Vinci Museum visit, come with free cancellation. Look for the free cancellation label on each activity page and check the stated deadline, since cut-off times differ between tours.

Do I need to book Rome museum tickets in advance?

For the Vatican Museums, Borghese Gallery and other popular sites, booking ahead is strongly advised, as entry slots are limited and several tours on this page are flagged as likely to sell out. Reserving early also lets you pick a language and start time that suits your schedule.

About Rome

Rome keeps its masterpieces indoors as well as out, and the city's museums reward anyone willing to step off the piazza and into a gallery. Small-group visits make the difference: the Borghese Gallery: Canova's Masterpieces Small Group Guided Tour turns a sculpture collection into a story, while the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel Tour with St. Peter's Basilica Access handles the logistics of Rome's busiest corridors for you.
