Venedig Bacaro Tour: Wein & Häppchen mit lokalem Guide probieren

It was utmost unfortunate experience. I would expect that the tour would be lead by the guide and there will be some pre-arranged catering (wine tasting). It was obviously improvised and the whole trip was just a wasting of time. In view of that experience I withdrew from " Ghosts and Legends Tour" so I cannot comment on this part of the evening. It could be better.

Due to it being a Tuesday, we were in fact the only two booked for the first part of the tour to the chiccetti bars. I have no doubts that with a larger crowd this twould be much better because it is all about socialising in Venice. Despite this, Elisabete made us feel welcome and took us to some excellent little chicetti bars. The second place with the wine labels on the ceiling and the excellent red wine was the best. Others joined us for the second part of the tour and the ensuing thunderstorm with forked lightning only made the stories of star crossed lovers, murderous sons and dishonest merchants unforgettable. . This tour will give you a real sense of The Venetian culture and our guide was friendly and enthusiastic. The streets of Venice get slippy when wet. Wear comfortable shoes with soles which grip!
