No one should go to Pompeii without a guide and really no one should go without Mena. She was so knowledgeable and so passionate about the site. Her descriptions transported you to ancient lifestyle. It was an amazing experience. Also arriving by train was great!!

Our tour was amazing! Definitely a highlight of our trip to Italy— a MUST see!! Gino was our guide and he was FANTASTIC! So knowledgeable about Pompeii and showed us the main highlights for the time we had. He said to see everything would take you 4-5 days! The sights were unbelievable and we learned so much.

Great little tour. We had a very easy train ride in from Sorrento since we are the originating stop and had a choice of seats since we loaded up early. A two hour tour inside the ruins was just the right amount of time to hear some facts, learn some history, and get some perspective. It’s enormous And there’s no need to see it all, but it would also be hard to find your way around or find any meaning in it if you didn’t have some commentary, especially from a local. Gino’s dry sense of humor hit with the group well and kept us listening so it didn’t get stale. I like it at the end of the tour. You had the option to continue by yourself, hit the gift shop or hop on the train and get back. Believe him when he says when you go to exit you go down nine wide stairs and turn right even though it won’t look like that’s the exit it is… it is!! Very easy getting back because again Sorrento is the last step on the line so there’s no chance you miss your stop. Well worth it to skip that line!!

Gino was entertaining and showed us the highlights. Unfortunately the headset reception was poor at times. Maybe speaking into the microphone consistently would help. All in all an informative interesting time was had by all.

Tour was as described, however I feel lile at the end, the tour guide should have taken the group back to the train station or walk them towards at least (in case people want to continue exploring on their own). It was challenging to take in all the instructions he was giving as to how to find our way back to the train station

Turen var fin. Imidlertid var problematikken omkring togafgang samt pladser ganske mangelfulde så vi har i stropperne under hele turen. Audi ægget fungerede dårligt og guiden havde ikke styr på gruppen hun løb jo alt for hurtigt igennem m og vi følte at det var blot noget hun skulle overstå på kort tid Ellers var oplevelsen fint så

Gino was a great guide and very knowledgeable, also was a bit cheeky at times. Although it was quite a warm day, Gino made sure where he could that we were in shade. The only criticism would be the radio devices kept dropping out, due to the size of the group but also in between alleyways. The ear piece was also uncomfortable to wear after a while.
