From Sorrento: Pompeii Ruins and Vesuvius or Pompeii Only

notre guide à Pompeii connaissait sa matière mais elle était complètement désintéressé par son petit groupe de 4 personnes françaises ! elle s'appelle Susy Martire Tiristiche. elle nous ignorait, répondait à aucune question, on semblait la déranger ! Une personne totalement non sympathique avec aucune considération pour ses clients ! par contre Lilia était très efficace pour le transfert au Vesuse.

The whole experience worked well. Transport was good from pick-up to drop off. The guide at Pompeii (Elisa?) was really excellent - knowledgeable and entertaining. The trip to walk round the crater of Vesuvio was well organised and allowed plenty of time to get to the top and back. We had beautiful weather and the views were stunning. Highly recommended

Pompeii itself is well worth seeing and I think best done with a guide otherwise we would have been wandering around aimlessly not knowing what we were looking at. Communication with the organisers was good, however pick up was 20 minutes late and the whole day felt rushed. We were given 20 minutes for lunch which meant pizza was not possible, so we hammered some cold gnocchi into us and were back on another bus headed for Vesuvius. Mount Vesuvius is also well worth doing, from the drop off it's a 20 minute steady walk, looks daunting at first but your at the top in no time. Overall, glad we did it but day felt a bit chaotic with the organisation.

Our Guide for Pompeii was excellent, great knowledge and very easy to follow her tour. The lunch however at the restaurant before we went to Mt Vesuvius was terrible. firstly we only had 20 m8n to order and eat before our bus was leaving for Vesuvius. Pizza we were told takes 20 min to cook so only salad or gonnochi was available for us with our short time. Guide for Vesuvius was a bit rash in her statement saying if your late back for bus you WILL BE LEFT BEHIND. Vesuvius itself was beautiful. The bus and guide were actually late picking us up themselves.

The team made a great effort to fetch us, thank you! The tour of Pompeii was amazing. Eliza was funny and knowledgeable. The pizza was really tasty. My only recommendation is to take pizza orders when you leave Pompeii, so they can be ready on arrival. Otherwise, the trip up to Mt Vesuvius was exhausting but worth it! We really had a great day :-)

Really good trip. I felt it wasn't quite long enough in Pompeii to see much of it but any longer in the heat would have been difficult. The parts we did see were great. The pizza lunch on the way to Vesuvius was delicious and organised well. And finally the walk up Vesuvius was challenging but worth it. All in all a trip very well worth doing and I really enjoyed it.
