Florence Uffizi Small-Group Tour (Max 9) with Vasari Corridor Option

We only had four tourists on the tour, which was good, but guide Deborah's accent was difficult to understand. We were taken through many parts quite quickly. I was glad that I could return to the galleries to look in more depth after the official tour ended. The Uffizi's air conditioning could not keep up with the oppressive heat and humidity because of the crowds.

Gli Uffizi sono uno dei musei da visitare almeno una volta nella vita. Anche il Corridoio Vasariano è stata un’esperienza interessante anche per la visuale sull’Arno in una posizione preferenziale. Il supporto da remoto è stato molto apprezzato perché sono stati molto disponibili e hanno tenuto conto delle nostre esigenze.

The tour is very informative. And the guide Debora is very knowledgeable and guided us through crowded areas and get us the best view to look at the paintings. We didn’t miss any important pieces and she uses time wisely so we get the most of the important pieces. We also got close up look at painting Bacchus! She showed us a trip by zooming in certain part of the painting, which amused us! Go small group it worth the money. The company is reliable and credible. We had very pleasant experience and John from the company coordinated with us with quick response.

Our guide Camilla was very knowledgeable and friendly! The tour goes rather fast through the Uffizi in about 2 hours, and you learn a lot of history about the most important artists and pieces throughout. The tour then hands off to the Vasari Corridor staff who walk you through the rest and exits at the Boboli Gardens, so there is no additional time at the end to explore the Uffizi. Plan to come back to Uffizi on your own because you can't see everything in just a few hours. The Boboli Gardens requires a separate ticket as well which is not included, so plan for that if you want to see everything in the same day.

Our guide Michele, was charming, knowledgeable and chose an interesting series of works to visit highlighting progression of painting from Giotto through the Renaissance. We had booked an early tour to beat the crowds but unfortunately it was rescheduled to middle of the day so the number of people at the gallery was overwhelming. The Uffizi arranges escorts through the corridor. It is a shame they are not profesional guides who enjoy sharing the history.

We only spent 1 hour in the Uffizi and I felt like we were running through the highlights so our guide could drop us off at the next part of the tour - Vasari Corridor. We spent the next hour waiting and walking through the Vasari at a very slow pace (I believe it is museum staff that walked us through). It is white-washed hallway with not much to see and the people walking us through didn't talk about anything. It would have been nice if they had talked about some of the history. I would have opted to spend more time in the Uffizi and not gone through the Vasari.
