Unfortunately, we were not able to attend this excursion. We booked a shuttle through our cruise ship and they got us to the meeting point later than we were expected to be there. Our tour guide called us and said she was not able to leave all the tickets we purchased for us to use and we couldn’t attend unless we were with her. So yes, we are disappointed, but I can’t blame her. Just wish they would’ve left us something so we could’ve enjoyed the day And using the tickets we paid for.

Peterskirken var det bedste Forbedring: Overskriften siger i store fede bogstave vatikanmuseerne, Det sixtinske kapel og Peterskirken. Men med småt står der Peterskirken ikke inkluderet, det vildledende markedsføring

Our guide was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour despite a big mix up between GYG and the agency running the tour. Huge thanks to Georgina from Crown Tours who saved the day!

A little less detail about the Sistine chapel with the signs outside the museum otherwise it was great!

Opas puhui taukoamatta, liian paljon yksityiskohtaista tietoa. Kuulokkeet eivät toimineet kunnolla. Museokierros venyi turhan pitkäksi ilmeisesti Pietarinkirkon vierailun peruuntumisen johdosta, monta tuntia seisomista/kävelyä ilman taukoa. Pietarinkirkon osuuden peruutus oli pettymys.

My tour guide Alessandra was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and passionate. She was very kind and helpful. The tour itself I feel was a little overpriced.

The tour was extremely long and the Vatican Museum is very large with 24 different rooms/galleries. I would probably have gotten just tickets without a guide and spend the whole day at the museum and did it slowly with breaks, then came back to do St. Peter's Basilica another day. Going with guide meant it was very rushed and we had no breaks to rest. The guide provided a lot of history on the art pieces on display, it was like an art tour rather than history of the Vatican itself that I was hoping for. The museum had a really nice bookstore/gift shop at the start which we didn't get to visit because with the guide, you can cut across the museum directly into St. Peter's square. Without a guide, you have to exit the museum/Vatican City, go around outside the country to re-line up to enter the St. Peter's Square from the other side which I would recommend doing another day/morning.
