From Naples: Vesuvius & Pompeii/Herculaneum Day Trip with Skip-the-Line Access

It's incredible how much you see in a single day—it's wonderful. At Mount Vesuvius, they drop you off just a few meters from the crater and very close to the other viewing platforms.

The ruins are there, but they don't give good advice on what to see. In Pompella especially, they just pick the sites that fit your schedule and don't tell you which ones are the most important.

A very well-organized tour, with the schedule followed to the letter and a perfect driver. Perhaps the only drawback was that there wasn't enough time (especially for Herculaneum).

Tour guides at start (Naples) funny and smart. Ercolano audio guide terrible! No organization. You can't get much out of wakling around- hire a real guide. Trip back was long and tedious.

It was nice to see 3 places in 1 day, but I wish I knew there wouldn't be places to eat. If I'd known ahead of time, I would have brought some food. Also, the audioguide for Herculaneum was terrible. The code had to be rescanned multiple times to keep working and the numbers didn't match up to the appropriate areas.

I really appreciated the guides’ punctuality and clear instructions. Areas for improvement: The initial meeting point at Ramada isn’t clearly marked, so you have to keep an eye out for potential customers. Also, the time allotted for the visit to Pompeii is clearly insufficient; it should be at least three hours.

The staff was friendly, and we had plenty of time to visit all the highlights. Transportation was well organized—just the way it should be. A great experience.

Visitting times at the locations were too short to enjoy really. Chaotic transport. And after all, way too expensive for what it was: payed 91€ for two entries (11€ + 13€), further no guide, no explanation... that makes it an extravagant expensive bus trip

The team in Napoli was lovely, the girl in a bus and a man in hat were very polite. The drivers are amazing! But the young man in Pompei was very very rude and this broke our experience. Vesuvio and Pompei are worth to visit anyway.

The tour guide provided to us was exceptionally well-organized. A wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
