From Naples: Pompeii & Vesuvius Tour with Ticket Options

The day was good. Pompeii was excellent. We drove up to Mount Vesuvius but could not enter because of high winds. Our driver Marco went above and beyond to try and get us on the mountain. He was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Naples and was passionate about sharing. He gave us a memorable experience despite the weather keeping us from seeing the peak of Mt Vesuvius.

Trip to Pompei was very good. Second part of the Trip (Vesuvius) not at all. BUS DRIVER DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE HAD TO DRIVE TO VESUVIUS, BUT WASTED VALUABLE TIME DRIVING THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION, THEN, AFTER TURNING ROUND HE >DID NOT KNOW< THE WAY UP VESUVIUS! I'M 73 YEARS OLD AND WAS ABSOLUTELY STRUGGLING TO MAKE IT UP AND DOWN IN THE LEFTOVER-TIME. VERY FRUSTRATING!
