Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius Combo Tickets with Audio Guide

Everything was clear and simple. We had thought about going to Pompeii first, but we were advised to visit Mount Vesuvius first, and it turned out to be a good choice.

The staff didn't give us good advice on the best time to climb Vesuvius; we went up in terrible weather, even though the skies cleared up nicely that same afternoon. The audio guide is of very little interest; it mentions areas closed to the public and doesn't explain the city's layout at all. There's no clear thread running through it.

Everything went really well; we loved our visit to Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius. A quick tip: set aside a full day for Pompeii, or you won’t have time to see everything! Transportation isn’t included in the tickets, so be sure to reserve your parking spot for Mount Vesuvius in advance. Thank you for this experience 🙏🏼
