Mount Vesuvius Tour from Naples: Skip-the-Line Ticket & Audio Guide

The job of this tour company was to get me to and from Vesuvius, as it was a self-guided tour and Vesuvius itself was amazing In my case, they caused me physical and emotional distress on the way back This issue had to do with a lady at their office, who gave me completely wrong information about which vehicle to look for. It was my fault for not remembering the vehicle, but when I called her she said she would send me the vehicle details and she sent me the wrong one! So o went running down the mountain looking for a non-existent vehicle and when I returned up the mountain I realised the correct one was there! I messaged the lady back on WhatsApp to tell her and she didn’t even have the courtesy to respond! The driver, Massimo, btw, was very good A good practice for future reference might be to provide correct vehicle details at the booking process or start of the engagement

Excellent trip. Vincenzio was very courteous and knowledgeable. It was a bit chaotic at collection with many tours, coaches and people but once we found the correct minibus the tour went smoothly. He gave us information and quick photo opportunities on the way up and down. The minibus was comfortable and air conditioned although the seats were quite narrow. We had 2 hours to climb to the crater. The toilets at the gate and the souvenir shops/cafes on the route to the top were very welcome. Beautiful views and a lovely clear sunny day. Couldn’t believe some people were there in just T-shirt and shorts - you definitely needed at least a hoodie. Even with 30 degree heat in Naples it was very chilly and windy at the top.
